Puffer storage tanks Solar / Heating systems

Solar inertia tanks PF/PFR are specifically designed to be installed in centralized solar storage systems in multi-dwelling buildings and individual ACS production systems and heating support (hotels, hospitals, sports halls, etc.).

Its function is the accumulation of hot water generated through solar collectors in the primary circuit, so they should never be installed in the secondary circuit of drinking water (have no internal treatment). Combined with an instant ACS generation module, it avoids any risk of legionella (it does not require cathode protection or maintenance operations). They have an effective thermal insulation and high insulation capacity, free of CFC, minimizing heat losses in tanks. They comply with the minimum performance and labelling requirements laid down in Directive 2010/30/EU and Directive ERP respectively for hot water tanks with a capacity of ≤  500 litres.

Unlike PF inertia tanks, PFR models incorporate a large capacity fixed tubular exchanger.

In the case of incorporating an exchanger in the accumulation tank, the ratio between the useful interchange surface and the total catchment area shall not be less than 0,15.
